I had the best day with you, today.

Last Monday was one of those perfect days, few and far between these days, but I'm here to testify that they do indeed exist! Brannon had the day off (and was rested) so we decided to Fall it up and go to the pumpkin patch down the road (a parking lot with hay). The whole day was glorious, everyone was in a good mood and we had lots of fun together.
Laughing at a birthday card the Ortons sent to Rio that plays the song, Wipe out.

Nothing phases Belize, I don't think there has been anything yet she's been truly afraid of. She likes "scary" things. And these scarecrows were freaky looking!

Doesn't he look like a little boy?
Belize was enraptured with the pony ride, I told her no (they were $6.75 and the ponies looked so sad, Brannon argues otherwise) and then she and Brannon disappeared and Belize reappeared on a pony. He is so completely smitten. I had to laugh when he told me when he bought the tickets she exclaimed in her sweetest most excited voice, "Oh THANK YOU daddy!"

We made some new friends!

Then for the first time in our 6 years of marriage, Brannon made dinner (not including porridge, egg bread, or tuna salad). He used his Dad's recipe for Tomato soup (not even a real recipe, touch and go) and it was HEAVEN! I came home a hot meal and handsome husband waiting for me, it was divine! Thanks babe, it was the best EVER!!!!!

And then Belize carved her 1st pumpkin! She got to choose what it looked like and had lots of fun pulling out the guts and popping out the eyes. Can a day get any better? I think not.

Fun day! I can't believe how brave Belize is! She rode that pony all by herself! Cool idea for a pumpking patch, no dirt and mud to deal with!
