Mayan is STILL an angel child!  She has really started watching the kids run around and offers up smiles to anyone who pays attention to her. :)  Mayan has been diagnosed with Torticollis (not uncommon) which basically means that the muscle on the left side is kinked.  We noticed because she never turns her head to the right, only the left.  She started physical therapy last week and have already started seeing results.
Facebook status update: Tonight while I was making dinner, Mayan woke up and started crying so I asked the kids to help her while I finished. When I came to get her she had a band-aid on her forehead. My kids are awesome.

This deserves its' own post.

Sunshine.
Today, she giggled.

Nana photo dump

Look at that turkey leg- I just want to eat it up!
Rio misses his Jonut but we've been heading out to burbank once a week so he can get his fill. :)
After Nana left, I swear Mayan went through withdrawals, she wasn't as smiley and missed all the one on one attention.

Alli got a stone brick dropped on her toe- poor baby!

 "Oh man."

Incredible Halloween 2011

For Belize's school parade she got to wear next year's costume.
We were The Incredibles, complete with baby Jack Jack (sorry, Mayan)!!  Nana flew in town just in time and got to be Edna Mode!  The kids talked all week long about their super powers and Brannon complained about his "stretchy pants"- haha.

I made this "dragon" sweatshirt for Rio's dragon birthday party but then it was too hot to wear, so he got to reuse it when he and Chezie went to Belize's Halloween parade.

October Activity

This is what I see every couple hours during the day.  What a sweet view. :)
Getting ready for family prayer, 3 verses of scripture and a few books read by Dad.

These girls look a LOT alike.

 Tulita Elementary's Western Night Carnival

Wish I had me a pair of fancy red boots!

Brannon has been commuting over an hour each way into Beverly Hills.  He FINALLY decided to try books on CD and is now a big Harry Potter fan.   Also the other day he drove next to Justin Bieber- after retelling the story to me, Belize asked, "Was there really a beaver driving a car?"

This girl has already been to Disneyland 3 times, a state fair and will so on be riding on her 1st airplane- pretty good for 10 weeks- eh?  She also just had her 10 week check-up.  90% in weight and 95% in height!!!  She also started sleeping 10 hours a night!  Woot!  Unbelievable!!!!

A Name & a Blessing

On October 9th, 2011, Mayan Lina Rodriguez Orton received her baby blessing, given by her Dad.  It was very sweet.  Dan Rich, Collin Jager, Glenn Harmon, Vince Ho, Scott Nielsen stood in the circle.  And even though there was no extended family in the congregation, I felt like our family here was.  :)  And I swear, Mayan came home a different baby, it was like after 6 weeks in a cocoon (of sleep) she woke up and came alive.  She started smiling and cooing and BEING awake!  She still sleeps like a champ (on average 8 hours a night) though and well, she is just an angel of a baby!  We love her SOOOOOOO much!  Also it was the last day for the Harmons at church, they have moved to Burbank to a dream job at Dream Works and we will miss our dear friends!  But thankfully, its not far and we will make trips to "Jonut's new howt" frequently.  Thanks Glenn for being our photographer and each and every Harmon for being truly wonderful friends
